My favorite makeup application tool is and has been the Beauty Blender. I mean how can you not fall in love with its egg shaped, squishy appearance and not to mention its FLAWLESS application, and the little egg grows twice its size!! If you aren’t sure how to use the Beauty Blender, don’t worry, its super easy! All you have to do it squeeze the Beauty Blender under water and release to let it absorb the water, do this 3-4 times and then squeeze out all the excess water. After squeezing the Beauty Blender, dab the Beauty Blender on a towel to ensure that it is as dry as possible but still has some water, and then apply your foundation to the Beauty Blender and apply to your face. To achieve flawless application, dab on your face with a slight turn and BAM, perfect skin! So now you might be wondering how to clean your BB, well you have 2 options! The 1st option is to use the liquid BB cleaner and rub it in with water! Your 2nd option is to use the solid BB cleaner, which is like a soap bar, and wash the BB with water and the bar. I personally like the solid BB cleaner, but it’s really all your own preference! NOTE: DO NOT USE REGULAR SOAP, it will start to decay the structure of the BB. The good news is, you can use the BB cleansers as a makeup brush cleanser as well, so money well spent! There are multiple Beauty Blenders and each color has a different purpose! The Beauty Blender Original (pink) is to use for foundation, powder, BB + CC cream, cream blush and powder. The Beauty Blender Pro (black) is for long-wear makeup, bronzer, and self-tanner, the black color is perfect because it doesn’t show any of the permanent colors. The Beauty Blender Pure (white) is for primer, serum, moisturizer, eye cream and foaming cleanser. The Beauty Blender micro mini (green) is for concealer, highlighter, contouring and acne spot coverage, the small size lets you get into the small places that the regular sized BB can’t get into. The fact that you let the BB absorb water, allows you to use less makeup since the makeup sits on the surface of the BB and doesn’t absorb into the BB. Sephora also carries limited edition colors sometimes, which usually has the same purpose of the original BB. So I’m sure you’re scraping together the money to go out and buy the BB or order it online and all I have to say is you won’t regret it!!! You can get the BB at Sephora or on the Beauty Blender website, and remember, Keep Sparkling!
