I love September, fall is here, which means boots and sweaters but more importantly……it’s HOMECOMING SEASON! That means shopping for a homecoming dress! Homecoming is like the first fashion show of the year…..it’s a night when we all get to feel like a princess. If you want to look and feel like royalty at homecoming, there is no better place to look than the king himself, Mac Duggal. If you are not familiar with Mac Duggal’s designs I will assume you have been lost at sea for about 30 years, so with that said let me fill you in on why I love Mac Duggal’s designs.
Since launching his line in 1985 Mac Duggal’s designs have been a staple on the red carpet with celebrities and a household name in the pageant world with several title holders crowned wearing a Mac Duggal. From ready to wear lines (fashion vocab lesson of the day-en francais-in French- pret a porter=ready to wear) available in formal dress retailers across the world to custom made couture gowns, Mac Duggal has been dazzling the fashion world year after year with his stunning designs. His 2015 Homecoming dress line as well as his 2015 After Five line are the perfect pairing of Mac Duggal’s signature couture design genius with a short length, which is ideal for homecoming. The diverse selection in this year’s line, from the uber glam look of Swarovski crystals to a classic elegant design, there is something for everyone. This is why Harleigh Hearts is giving Mac Duggal the 2015 Homecoming King award. Let’s take a look at some of my favorite Mac Duggal Homecoming dresses for 2015.
Like I have said before….BLING is the new BLACK and I am pretty sure Mr. Duggal was reading my mind with these gorgeous ultra glam sparklers….
If bling is not your thing….not to worry, Mac Duggal doesn’t disappoint with these elegant classic designs that have a hint of vintage in the cut infused with a modern look.
Mac Duggal scored a touchdown with his gorgeous 2015 homecoming dresses proving once again why he is an iconic designer.
Thought for the day…..being beautiful is not defined by the size of your dress, it’s defined by the size of your heart.
Happy Homecoming, and as always…..
KEEP SPARKLING!
XOXO,
Harleigh
PS-Remember when I said that I was just a regular girl dealing with the same things as everyone else? Due to an unforeseen twist of events (YOU SUCK MR. EX BOYFRIEND), I will be all dressed up with no place to go Homecoming night so if you know any hot guys, HOOK A GIRL UP!
